Delia's Drops Two College Sites

Delia's Corp., a multichannel retailer that markets apparel, accessories and home furnishings to teen-age girls and young women, sold all its assets of TheSpark.com subsidiary yesterday to Barnes & Noble for an undisclosed sum.


The sale also includes TheNotes.com, an academic resource site that features online study guides. TheSpark.com is geared toward college-age users.


The sale of the properties will allow Delia's to streamline its operations and focus on Delia's branded multichannel retailing business, said Stephen Kahn, CEO of Delia's
