Deal Helps WorldBestBuy Expand E-commerce
WorldBestBuy.com, San Diego, a retail Web site, this week said it will expand its merchandising and e-commerce capabilities because of a software deal with e-tail company ZMarket.com, Alameda, CA. Financial terms were not disclosed.Under the agreement, WorldBestBuy.com will look to increase its product base, streamline order fulfillment and improve back-office information infrastructure. The company's Web site, www.worldbestbuy.com, will electronically access a wider variety of products, fulfill drop-ship and single order requests, as well as manage routine aspects of multi-supplier relationships more easily - such as routing orders and receiving tracking information in real time.
