Deadline extended - Seeking Op-Eds for Database Marketing guide

Direct Marketing News is accepting expert column submissions for its 2011 Essential Guide to Database Marketing, which will be published in February.

Database marketing is a crucial – often first—step in a 360-degree marketing plan. Connecting and targeting the right prospect or existing customer begins with the right data and the right list. Experts from all areas in database and list marketing are invited to share their knowledge, tips, trend predictions and best practices with the Direct Marketing News' readership. We encourage and will publish articles from diverse perspectives, including those that challenge the status quo, offer practical tips and how-to's, as well as insight into the latest trends in this highly relevant discipline.

The Op-Eds should be informative and helpful but not promotional of the author's company. We are particularly interested in the following categories: Data integration, data quality, list marketing, B-to-B database/list marketing, and data intelligence.

Please e-mail your 450-word article to senior editor Rose Gordon at features@dmnews.com by JANUARY 3. Submissions must include the author's name, title, company name, e-mail address and phone number. Please attach a print quality, 3-inch, 300-dpi color headshot (at least 600 KB in size). Entries WITHOUT print-quality photos will be eliminated.

We cannot guarantee inclusion of all articles submitted and we cannot acknowledge receipt of same. We reserve the right to edit articles. We will notify those authors whose editorials we select for publication.
