DataMirror Corp., Toronto, a provider of e-business data integration and resiliency solutions, recently announced that its Transformation Server product family is now providing metadata management capabilities afforded through version 2.2 of its Enterprise Administrator graphical user interface.Enterprise Administrator for Transformation Server version 2.2 features a powerful new MetaCapture facility that allows users to view their entire replication network in a single snapshot and export detailed metadata directly into front-end query and reporting tools or customer relationship management applications without custom coding. MetaCapture is an open solution that supports the Object Management Group Standard for MetaData Integration, Open Information Model and XML Interchange Format.
Additional features and functionality of the Enterprise Administrator version 2.2 includes intuitive drag-and-drop functionality that allows Transformation Server customers to easily drag data from the publisher or source system directly into database tables on the subscriber or target system.
