Walter Karl Interactive today announced the launch of The Optimization Network, a business-to-business and business-to-consumer lead generation network.

The Walter Karl Optimization Network is an online customer acquisition platform for publishers and advertisers.

The network has 200 sites and 30 site categories, the company said, and marketers can target their offer to reach their desired demographic in categories such as IT, nursing,
health care, marketing, manufacturing, finance, government and construction.

“The network addresses the lack of quality solutions in the marketplace to generate new business-to-business leads,” said Allison Tebbe, director of digital product development and marketing, in a statement. “We have leveraged the relationships we've built over the past 50 years to enlist sites that advertisers will be excited about. In addition, it offers our publishers (clients) a way to drive incremental revenue in a tough economy.”

OptNet works by leveraging co-registration to generate leads for marketers. Co-registration let advertisers place their offer to opt-in on a site's registration path. Once the user indicates that they would like to receive the offer and hits “submit” their data is passed to Walter Karl.
