Lighthouse List, the Pompano Beach, FL-based list brokerage firm, has formed a new division called AmeriBase, with a specialty in list management for digital channels such as e-mail and SMS.

AmeriBase offers management and enhancement of databases of any size for target marketing, according to a company release. Steve McFadden, president of Ameribase, will lead the new division, which will be headquartered at the current Lighthouse List office.

“What we're trying to do is provide e-mail campaigns and SMS services for people,” McFadden said. “We're going to help our clients monetize these digital lists.”

Mark Traverso, VP sales, new business development, e-commerce at Lighthouse List, said that while the company would continue its established postal list business, it was looking to expand its client base and enhance its multichannel marketing services for current clients.

“We've always done small bit of e-mail marketing, and we thought it was time to establish a new division for our existing clients in this area, as well to acquire new ones,” said Traverso. “We're looking to expand our revenue for list management, and find new sources of data not on the market.”
