Databeacon Helps Track Expenses

InterNetivity Inc. recently upgraded databeacon, its Web-based data analysis and reporting system. The system allows online and offline businesses to use the Web to keep track of company expenses.


For example, a databeacon user can answer the following questions about an online phone bill: How many long-distance calls did the accounting department place? What was the No. 1 location called by accounting? Which number called specific locations?


New features in databeacon 5.0 will allow multiple users to analyze several areas of business at once. Users also can create side-by-side bar graphs as well as reports about commonly used resources and expenses. InterNetivity, Ottawa, also said business-to-business firms could track their online billing records with the system.


Pricing for databeacon 5.0 starts at $40,000 per processor, which allows for an unlimited number of users. Databeacon 5.0 is sold directly by InterNetivity and through resellers.
