InfoGroup chair: No decision yet on company sale

InfoGroup Chairman Roger Siboni said in a November 1 statement that the company's management has "made no decision to sell the company." The press release came one day after the Omaha World-Herald reported that at least 33 potential bidders have expressed interest in the firm to its financial advisor, Evercore Partners.
 

Chick-fil-A to launch 'cow-created' site to build e-mail database

Fast-food chain Chick-fil-A will launch a Web site on October 21 — www.eatmorechikin.com — as a separate Web experience from its primary site. The company's ultimate goal is to build an additional e-mail database for the brand. The quirky site, created by the food company's interactive agency Click Here, will be designed to look like it was created by cows.
 

Havas Digital to use Omniture platform for search marketing efforts

Havas Digital will roll out Omniture's SearchCenter platform for Fortune 500 clients of its agencies: Media Contacts, Lattitud and iGlue, due to a partnership the companies announced on October 7. The agency will use Omniture's platform to manage clients' paid search advertising spending and to integrate search campaigns with online and offline marketing initiatives, according to a statement from the two companies.

Jigsaw to leverage Harte-Hanks IT market intelligence

Business information and data services provider Jigsaw has partnered with Harte-Hanks to leverage its IT market intelligence. Jigsaw is an online directory of business contact information that is generated by a global community of 900,000 members. The database currently contains information on more than 14 million business contacts. Jigsaw will use data from Harte-Hanks, such as information about a company's installed technologies, to enrich the database and be able to provide more targeted sales prospecting and marketing data.
