Wall Street Journal Offers Modeling Through ALC

American List Counsel, Princeton, NJ, announced yesterday the availability of modeling services on the Wall Street Journal database of 1.3 million active subscribers.

The Good Customer Match model matches a list owner's best customer file against the Wall Street Journal file to determine what subscribers might respond to that mailer's direct marketing offer.

The Response Model examines a cross section of Wall Street Journal subscribers that responded to a mailer's offer to identify their characteristics.

Data is sent to Experian, which builds both models.

The Wall Street Journal file is 73 percent male with an average age of 54 and an average household income of $262,000. Dow Jones & Co. publishes the Wall Street Journal.
