TargetSmart, Denver, a customer acquisition and growth systems company, has introduced ProspectSmart, an application that lets retail businesses of all sizes quickly find new high-potential customers using key demographic and geographic data profiles. The company said the software uses mail merge and creative wizards to help develop personalized marketing messages and direct links to print and fulfillment services to produce, stuff, stamp and mail the final direct mail or marketing piece.


Users of the software can select a number of demographic and geographic data combinations for 10 cents a name with no minimums required. For a limited time it's offering the first 1,000 names free. The U.S. data contained in the software is compressed onto two CD-ROMs and works with Windows 95, 98, and NT 4.0.
