Printing, copying and document management company Sir Speedy Inc. said yesterday that it now offers document management services with variable printing to create personalized print pieces.

Sir Speedy print centers now offer small- to mid-sized businesses the ability to produce customized pieces in black and white or full-color. Sir Speedy uses technology that works with any type of customer relationship management information that businesses have.

"Our variable printing capabilities create powerful tools to help small business and corporate customers cut through direct mail clutter," said Dan Beck, president of Mission Viejo, CA-based Sir Speedy.

According to research by printing industry analyst firm CAP Ventures, when variable printing was used to tailor messages to individual audiences, organizations saw response rates rise 36 percent, average orders rise 24 percent and customer retention increase 47 percent.

"Because the message is individualized, materials are opened faster, read more often and response rates increase dramatically," said Ron Zayas, vice president of marketing for Sir Speedy.
