QuickAddress Selected by Northern Tool Equipment
QuickAddress is based on data secured from national postal authorities, including the U.S. Postal Service, and ensures that all addresses entered into a database are verified against this data.
Northern Tool is using QAS' QuickAddress Pro in its international call center in Surrey, England. The company said it chose QAS because it needed an address management system that would allow operators to quickly enter accurate addresses and ensure efficient delivery of customers' large shipments. Northern Tool said address accuracy is very important because it ships 300 to 400 orders to its customers every day via TNT and United Parcel Service. It's call center operates everyday, 24-hours a day, and serves as the central clearing house for calls. Operators field calls ranging from new orders and product returns to technical questions.
Northern Tool also said it was looking for a flexible product that would accommodate the significant differences that exist between mailing address formats in the US and the UK.
