Omni Hotels doubles rewards on rooms booked online to draw members

New members of Omni Hotels' Select Guest loyalty program will receive double credits for stays booked on omnihotels.com through the end of the year.

"The response to Omni's re-launch of Select Guest in April has been phenomenal," said Jeffrey Smith, VP of loyalty services for Omni Hotels, in a statement. "Now we're excited to provide even more of an incentive to join a loyalty program where it's so simple and easy to earn complimentary stays." 

The hotel chain relaunched the program in April in a three-tiered model to appeal to different types of travelers. New members get Gold Level benefits upon joining.

Omni could not be reached for comment by press time.
