Mokrynski Offers Increased Product Selectivity From J. Crew Lists

Mokrynski & Associates Inc., Hackensack, NJ, said last week the J. Crew files, which it began managing earlier this month, now offer increased selectivity in products.


"Specific products can be selected as opposed to just broad categories," said Bob Stein, account executive at Mokrynski. These product selections were not available previously when the files were managed by Direct Media Inc.


J. Crew is a retailer and cataloger of casual and classic American styles of apparel.


The more than 1.2 million mail-order buyers and 580,000 Internet customers in the J. Crew master file have a median age of 35 and an average income of more than $75,000. About 83 percent are homeowners; 63 percent are married; 46 percent have children, and 72 percent are college-educated.


The lists within the master file also include retail store buyers, parents of college students, college students and Canadian buyers. Enhancements available include age, household income and age of children. In addition to the buyers, the catalog requester names are also available.
