Marketing Consultant Opens It'

Database marketing consultant Les Proctor has announced the formation of his new firm, It' Proctor & Associates LLC, to provide direct and interactive marketing solutions.

"I chose the name to stress that interactive marketing is really just direct marketing -- using the same tried-and-true principles to help build long-term and rewarding relationships for clients online and offline," Proctor said.

After 2 1/2 years with data services firm American Computer Group, Tempe, AZ, as an account executive, Proctor decided to relocate to Cleveland Heights, OH, and start his own direct marketing consultancy.

Proctor said the experience he gained in traditional direct and interactive marketing at ACG prepared him to assist clients in taking an integrated approach to their marketing efforts.

Services offered by It' include database development; profiling, segmenting and targeting house databases through demographic overlays; list brokerage; and creative/project management.

In addition, It' can help clients develop third-party opt-in e-mail lists and work with firms to get their files up at list management firms.

Proctor said he has forged relationships with several list management firms, though he declined to mention names.
