Major League Baseball Picks SAS to Bolster Web Site

Business intelligence vendor SAS announced that MLB Advanced Media LP, the interactive media and Internet company of Major League Baseball, selected SAS Marketing Automation as part of an effort to improve MLB.com, the official Major League Baseball Web site.


SAS Marketing Automation will let MLB.com increase registrations and improve conversion rates, the Cary, NC, vendor said. The platform also will let MLB.com improve the retention rate of subscription customers while increasing fans' use of various paid subscription services offered on the site, SAS said.


The SAS solution for MLB Advanced Media includes reporting capabilities and predictive analytics.
