Global Sports Inc., which handles online stores for retail, sporting, media and entertainment brands, has tapped Redwood City, CA-based Enviz Inc.'s Enviz Insight EX enterprise software to enhance the customer experience of the sites it operates.

Enviz Insight will help secure live customer interaction data, offer adaptive models and behavior analysis, and allow context-based questioning to gauge user intent and satisfaction.

"We have incorporated Enviz Insight into our ongoing business process analyses in order to obtain the information needed to make our customers' experience better," Andy Chen, vice president of product development at Global Sports, said in a statement.

According to the company, Enviz Insight will allow Global Sports' to capture quality of experience from user interaction points like online ads, Web pages or e-mails.

Based in King of Prussia, PA, Global Sports will soon change its name to GSI Sports Inc. The company manages online stores for brands like Blades, The Sporting Authority, Modell's, Denver Broncos, Progolf.com, LPGA.com and San Diego Chargers.
