FleetBoston to Install Xchange EnAct at Retail Branches
Xchange EnAct, which is already deployed at 900 of Fleet's 1,200 retail branches, is designed to allow frontline customer contact personnel at the branch to use customer information to optimize customer value.
FleetBoston, the eighth-largest financial holding company in the United States, expects Xchange EnAct's ability to strengthen the customer and sales management processes in the branches, allowing staff to deepen and retain relationships more effectively with their best customers, the company said.
"We chose Xchange EnAct to give us a better way to combine and deploy the value of three of our most important assets -- our customer base, our investment in customer information technology and our frontline staff," said Roy Lever, director of branch banking at Fleet.
Xchange, Boston, a customer relationship management vendor, made the announcement last week.
