Churchill Downs Incorporated Hires Shah to Lead CRM Effort

Officials at Churchill Downs Inc. said last week that the company, which owns and operates horse racing venues, will implement a customer relationship management initiative throughout its organization next year.

CDI, Louisville, KY, has hired Atique Shah as vice president of CRM and technology solutions to lead and implement the new CRM initiative. Shah will report to Andy Skehan, CDI's senior vice president of sales and marketing.

CDI's CRM program will create a business and technology foundation that will allow it to better identify, service and market to its customers. The initiative is expected to improve customer retention, smarter customer acquisition and customer use of products and services, the company said.
