Catalina Teams With MicroStrategy, IBM

Catalina Marketing Corp. will work with MicroStrategy Inc. and IBM Corp. to provide interactive retail business intelligence to its customers, MicroStrategy said yesterday.


Catalina Marketing offers behavior-based marketing services. Through its Retail Direct product, Catalina manages customer loyalty information for more than 4,500 grocery locations nationally and globally.


Catalina will use MicroStrategy's business intelligence platform and IBM's server and database software to offer data query, reporting, advanced analytics and other features to customers.
