Cahners Business Information, New York, last week acquired A.F. Lewis & Co., New York, a directory and database provider to the graphics communications market. The acquisition is expected to enhance the products of Cahners' Graphic Arts Monthly magazine and will act as a market access tool for its printing, publishing and converting group. A.F. Lewis also publishes the "Graphic Arts Blue Book," a directory of commercial printers, prepress and digital service providers, finishers, binders, paper mills, merchants, manufacturers and suppliers to the print industry.
