Born, CMG Launch CardLink

Technology firm Born, Minneapolis, announced this week that it has co-developed a promotions-oriented system called CardLink with Carlson Marketing Group.


CMG, Minneapolis, has proprietary rights to the system and will use it to run electronic gift certificate programs for its clients in telecommunications, automotive, food and other industries.


The marketing firm also will incorporate the cards with loyalty programs, such as frequent-flier miles.


The e-gift certificates that CardLink enables can be bought with various debit cards. Born said the automated system supports the growth of other card products.
