Baan, a global provider of business-to-business collaborative commerce solutions, is offering the iBaan E-Configuration Enterprise, which is designed to help global organizations streamline the sales process.


The product gives customers, business partners, field salespeople, or call center operatives an interactive, real-time sales model, according to Baan. Companies can compare options, prepare orders and perform other tasks through a single Web site.


In addition, a "Complete Deduction" feature selects all possible product selections based on a customer's definitions and shows alternatives where incorrect definitions or product selections are made.
