Having to remember minute details about clients can be a challenge for harried marketers and salespeople. But forgetting important information about clients is now a distant memory thanks to Refresh—an app that aims to prepare users for upcoming conversations.

Refresh gathers and displays openly available and relevant factoids gathered from such sites as Facebook, LinkedIn, Evernote, and Twitter on more than 40 million people, so users can avoid idle talk and jump right into real conversations. The app even syncs with email—Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud, and Exchange—to highlight relevant correspondences with the people users are schedule to meet. The email sync sifts through a user's scheduled meetings to provide further conversation preparation.

Alerts provide users up-to-the-minute information about friends, clients, and potential business partners, as well as search for anyone by name or company even they're not scheduled to meet. In addition, users can introduce and connect people via the app.

A follow-up feature captures notes about the people a user has engaged with as a reminder for future conversations. A user's information is private and only she has the power to control what is shared. However, users are able to send contact information with one tap on the app.
