Alliance Data Renews PacSun Deal
Alliance Data, Dallas, will continue providing an integrated private-label credit card program for PacSun's stores and e-commerce business, representing $1 billion in annual sales.
Pacific Sunwear, Anaheim, CA, is a specialty retailer of everyday casual apparel, accessories and footwear for teens and young adults. As of Jan. 29, the company operated 744 PacSun stores, 84 PacSun outlet stores and 162 demo stores in 50 states and Puerto Rico.
Alliance Data will continue providing services such as customer service functions, account acquisition and activation, receivables funding, card authorization, private-label credit card issuance, statement generation and remittance processing.
Also, Alliance Data manages PacSun's proprietary points-based rewards program. It also provides an online bill presentment and payment solution, letting customers manage their accounts and receive customized messaging via the Web.
