Alitalia Picks MicroStrategy for Customer Analysis, Reporting

Business intelligence software provider MicroStrategy Inc. said yesterday that Alitalia chose the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Platform for enhanced enterprise-wide customer service analysis and reporting.

Using the MicroStrategy platform, the Italy-based airline will perform in-depth data analysis for a better understanding of a customer's purchase dynamics and fidelity. The platform's functionality allows customer segmentation based on different requirements such as customer behavior, profitability and income ranges.

With the knowledge achieved using MicroStrategy, Alitalia will gain insight to provide customers with more personalized services based upon each customer's specific profile and requirements.
