AddressDoctor opens US operations company
AddressDoctor, a data quality services provider, announced this week it has opened up a US operations company in the North Carolina Research Triangle Park, with plans to add additional jobs over the course of the year.
The Germany-based company recently invested in marketing, sales and customer support initiatives throughout the United States.
The company has been delivering technology via Web services over the past eight years, which prompted the opening a US office location as a base for customer and partner relationships, said AddressDoctor COO and director of US operations Bill Spruill.
“We've seen a large growth in business on the direct sales side, about 50% each year over the last four years,” he said.
Spruill said many of AddressDoctor's US customers are retailers who are expanding into foreign markets. The company has about 100 clients in the US and 500 worldwide.
“Providing customers the ability to perform address cleansing for over 240 countries and territories on a per click model allows customers to scale their use according to their specific needs,” said Spruill.
AddressDoctor also works as a Web service to deliver real-time results, using data collected and validated from the 240 countries and territories.
The company currently has six employees in its North Carolina office, and plans to expand to 12 within a year. It also has remote employees in Austin, Texas.
