Dames promoted to Harte-Hanks corporate VP

Harte-Hanks has promoted Brian Dames to corporate VP. He was previously managing director in charge of data services and data solutions for Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing. In the new role, Dames will serve as the senior business leader for the company's database marketing and analytics businesses.

Dames' role has grown in the past few years as he assumed responsibility for the data analytics business and database business — a role he will retain, according to a statement. He was also previously Harte-Hanks' CMO and has worked for the company since 2007.

Prior to joining Harte-Hanks, Dames held marketing and senior management positions with Experian, Claritas, Ethnicgrocer.com, IXI Corp., and Sears, Roebuck and Co. He will report directly to Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing president Gary Skidmore.
