Czech Airlines Launches U.S. Campaigns

Czech Airlines hired multicultural agency Global Advertising Strategies, New York, to handle two ad campaigns for the United States this year.


The first will target Americans of central and eastern European descent. The other will reach out to the growing number of U.S. business people regularly visiting the Czech capital of Prague and other cities in central and eastern Europe.


In-language print ads, with the "Letter from Home" theme, in key U.S. markets like New York, Los Angeles and Chicago comprise the campaign for central and eastern European Americans. The business effort has print and online elements in major consumer and trade media.


Services for these campaigns include conceptualizing, research and consultation on audience demographics, psychographics, pricing and placement strategies and media buying.


Czech Airlines carries more than 210,000 passengers between North America and Europe yearly.
