CyberRep.com Acquires 800 Support

CyberRep.com, a provider of outsourced contact center services, said yesterday it acquired 800 Support, which operates four contact centers in Portland, OR, and North Bend, OR, primarily serving e-commerce companies and other Internet-related businesses. The terms were not disclosed.


CyberRep, McLean, VA, operates five centers nationwide. It said the acquisition would add more than 800 Internet-enabled workstations and increase its staff to about 2,000 employees.


Dan Mendell, founder and president of 800 Support, will become president of the Northwest region for CyberRep.


CyberRep, formerly known as Unitel, has been seeking to position itself as a provider of Internet-based customer relationship management services.
