Custom Publishing Council Gains New Board

The Custom Publishing Council elected a new board of directors to oversee the strategic planning of the organization.

Michael Winkelman, president of Leverage, Dobbs Ferry, NY, has been selected chairman and president of the CPC board of directors. Six board members that will each serve a two-year term through June 2008 will support him.

The CPC began in 1998 as a division of the Magazine Publishers of America but went independent in 2002. The New York-based organization has 80 members and represents established companies and newcomers who seek to use special publications to win the loyalty of readers.
