Cuica Corp. Partners With Real Media to Target Ads
The company said it will use its Cuica Exchange technology to sell highly targeted low-volume Web pages across the iCover Network, an inventory control system that lets publishers fill unsold inventory with paid ads.
The Cuica Exchange provides tools for selling highly targeted Internet-based advertising and promotions and features automatic ad creation, in-depth targeting, real-time reports and dynamic campaigns. The company claims that click-through rates reach as high as 4 percent.
"It's a win-win partnership," said Eduardo Llach, CEO of Cuica, Menlo Park, CA. "We are able to fill inventory for [Real Media's] iCover Network from our growing list of merchants in highly targeted categories, and they receive increased ad revenue."
Cuica said it has about 8,000 deals and can offer advertisers 7 million to 10 million impressions per day. It recently formed an alliance with Inktomi Corp. and said its Cuica Exchange is live with ad deals from Inktomi's merchant partners.
