Crosstown Traders Hire Donnelley for Print, Fullfillment

Cataloger Crosstown Traders awarded a contract for integrated print and fulfillment services to R.R. Donnelley, the Chicago-based printing and logistics provider said yesterday.

The financial value of the deal was not disclosed, and Donnelley described the contract as "long-term" and "multi-year." Crosstown is the parent company of Arizona Mail Order, Bedford Fair, Lew Magram and Brownstone Studios, through which it sells women's apparel, shoes and accessories, as well as Figi's, which sells meat, cheese and holiday gifts.

Donnelley will provide pre-media services on "nearly all" of Crosstown's titles, including Old Pueblo Traders, Intimate Apparel, Regalla, Jewelry Book, Lew Magram and Brownstone Studios. Bedford Fair and Willow Ridge, two other Crosstown titles, have been Donnelley pre-media clients for 11 years.

Donnelley's pre-media technologies group will provide digital photography for Lew Magram, Brownstone Studios, Bedford Fair and Willow Ridge. Donnelley's pre-media facility in Elgin, IL, will do the work on the contract.

In addition, R.R. Donnelley Logistics will distribute Crosstown's printed promotional materials as well as packaged merchandise to consumers.
