Crossing Pointe Uses CommercialWare Program for Web Strategy

Crossing Pointe, a division of Blair Corp. -- a cataloger and direct marketer of men and women's apparel and home products -- selected CommercialWare Inc.'s retail.dot.commerce program yesterday to increase order volume and fulfillment for its direct-to-consumer operations.

The move comes after Blair Corp.'s launch of its new women's apparel catalog and Web site in June.

The cataloger integrated the order management, customer service and fulfillment operations for both entities. Through this strategy, Crossing Pointe can use the Web site as a channel to deliver items bought at the site and to leverage information collected online for future promotional sales.
