Cronin Expands to Direct

Hoping to tap into what the Direct Marketing Association says is a $153 billion industry, Cronin and Company Inc., Glastonbury, CT, has announced the opening of Cronin Direct, a full-service, Hartford-area direct marketing division.


"It enables us to now offer clients all marketing communication services under one roof," said John Riccio, Cronin executive vice president.


Riccio said many of Cronin's current clients are requiring new direct response expertise and assistance and that the agency is prepared to meet that demand with a full offering of integrated direct marketing services including direct TV, radio, print and


mail. The new division also will provide Internet services, collateral development and targeted list procurement and database management.


Cronin acquired Synergy Marketing Solutions Inc., Rocky Hill, CT, in 1997 and it will now be part of Cronin Direct under the direction of Lisa Zaccheo, who will act as vice president and managing director. Paul Catanese will be creative director.
