Credit Union Customers Can E-Mail Cash

HomeBank Technologies Inc. this week signed a deal with HyperWallet to provide roughly 350,000 members in 38 Canadian credit unions with the ability to e-mail cash within North America. Hyperwallet.com, Vancouver, allows consumers to make person-to-person e-mail and online payments to e-tailers using cash from their credit union accounts. Using Homebank.net, credit union members can transfer funds into their HyperWallet account via their online banking service.


HomeBank Technologies, Etobicoke, Ontario, is a software development company that markets an online banking system with wireless access. Other HomeBank products include eCheque, which enables users to view checks online, and ProLender, an ASP-based loan origination system and e-toolkit, an online financial planning program.
