Crain Awards $35M Print Deal to Quad/Graphics

Quad/Graphics received a seven-year, $35 million contract renewal to print and distribute four weekly magazine titles for Crain Communications Inc., the commercial printer said yesterday.


Quad/Graphics will print about 15 million tabloid-size magazines for Crain yearly at its plant in Sussex, WI. The titles are Advertising Age, Television Week, Business Insurance and Automotive News.


Crain has employed the print services of Quad/Graphics, which is based in Sussex, for seven years. Quad/Graphics, which has 11,000 employees and facilities on three continents, also provides print services to the direct mail and catalog industries.
