CPM Buys Employee Health Services Provider

CPM Marketing Group, a healthcare direct marketing firm, has bought Chicago-based WellNext, which provides employee health and wellness programs, the companies said yesterday.

The acquisition expands CPM's Health2Work program, a service CPM offers to hospitals. In Health2Work, CPM arranges partnerships between hospitals and employers in their areas so that hospitals can offer services to employees, such as free health screenings.

WellNext provides employers with assessments of employee health and creates healthcare services packages tailored to employee needs. This service will become part of the Health2Work program.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. CPM, East Peoria, IL, specializes in providing database analysis and marketing programs for hospitals.
