CP Comunicacion Proximity Bags SEAT

Volkswagen's SEAT auto brand named CP Comunicacion Proximity's Barcelona, Spain, office as its interactive agency in a contest involving seven ad agencies.


The agency's CP Interactive unit will work with Volkswagen consultant BearingPoint on offering services related to marketing and systems integration and maintenance. Double You, Madrid, was the Spanish incumbent. Germany's Elephant Seven handled SEAT internationally.


CP is charged with creating the international interactive communication strategy as well as the national accounts for SEAT Espana and SEAT Portugal. The agency also is responsible for IT services and systems work via BearingPoint, a specialist in systems integration.


CP Comunicacion and BearingPoint have set aside a team of 19 to serve SEAT. Virginia Fonticiella, director of client services, will lead the account. Enric Nello, executive creative director of CP Comunicacion, will head the creative side. Ramon Arbos, IT manager at BearingPoint, will run the technology side.
