Cox Target Media Folds Carol Wright into Val-Pak Envelopes

Cox Target Media, a subsidiary of Cox Newspapers, will merge its Carol Wright with Val-Pak direct mail products to create a consolidated national brand, the company said.

Starting in May, Carol Wright's national and regional advertising content and coupons will be stuffed in Val-Pak envelopes. The Carol Wright material will also feature on the site at www.valpak.com.

Carol Wright's standalone status ends with the April 2001. Cox, Largo, FL, will upgrade its Elm City, NC, plant to handle the new one-envelope initiative. Employees in that plant will be "furloughed following the Carol Wright April mailing while the plant is being converted," Cox said.
