Covad Outfits Two Cities With DSL Service

National broadband services provider Covad, Santa Clara, CA, has enabled Trenton, NJ, and New Haven, CT, to begin using its high-speed, broadband services.


Covad uses Digital Subscriber Line technology that, according to the company, eventually will be made available to more than 8,000 businesses and 79,000 households in Trenton, and 16,000 businesses and 125,000 households in New Haven.


The provider offers two products: TeleSpeed service, targeted to businesses; and TeleSurfer, appropriate for households.
