Coupon Clearinghouse Kicks Off BrandData

International Data LLC, New York, announced BrandData (www.branddata.com), its new online database that will provide sales managers, brand managers and marketers information regarding the success of their coupons, along with comparisons to their competitors' coupons. BrandData tracks distributed as well as redeemed coupons.


It stores real-time data on an interactive database and provides users with online reports of market and account activity. Users can conduct customized reports on their own or on their competitors' brands using criteria such as coupon value, cents-off discount ratio, purchase requirements, coupon publisher, newspaper and magazine titles. They can also retrieve information on the latest coupon drop or a four-color scan of the coupon itself. The coupons that it tracks are Valassis & Smarthouse FSI, Synergistic Marketing's magazine inserts and Catalina Marketing's in-store coupons.
