Costco Uses Coremetrics for Web Analysis

Coremetrics, a provider of hosted Web analytics and precision marketing solutions, said yesterday that Costco Wholesale Corp. implemented Coremetrics to track and analyze comprehensive customer and visitor behavior for the www.costco.com site.


Costco, Issaquah, WA, operates an international chain of membership warehouses carrying brand-name merchandise at lower prices than traditional retail stores.


Building on comprehensive user and visitor data gathered by San Mateo, CA-based Coremetrics, Costco will run profile-based merchandising campaigns to increase customer satisfaction, drive higher conversions and boost return on marketing investment.
