Coremetrics Debuts MarketforceCoremetrics Inc., Burlingame, CA, a Web-based marketing analytics solutions provider, today launches Coremetrics Marketforce, an analytics platform that captures and stores visitor click-stream activity to build profiles.
It uses a new XML and Java-based architecture to deliver client-specific reporting, integration of profiles and importing and exporting data into third-party systems.
The Core Data Platform, which forms Marketforce's foundation, is a hosted data warehouse containing online customer and visitor information. The platform gathers and stores behavioral information directly from the visitor's browser and records interactions in real time to build profiles.
"Marketforce enables us to analyze marketing efforts and overall Web site performance," said Jonathan Kapplow, corporate marketing manager at Hanover Direct, a pilot tester of the program. "We are particularly interested in the success of e-mail campaigns, and Marketforce's lifetime metrics help us understand which campaigns deliver solid ROI."
