Coolsavings Offers New Targeted Marketing Service

Coolsavings.com has added a survey feature to its e-marketing products and services that will allow marketers to ask individuals questions and to customize offers based on answers, the company said yesterday.


The service, Select Response Surveys, can be used across coolsavings' marketing platforms, including its newsletter, targeted e-mails and its Web site. In addition, the data collected from the surveys can be matched to consumers' purchase behavior and demographic information, according to coolsavings.


Coolsavings, Chicago, said several clients have tested the service and saw a 174 percent increase in response to their offers. No additional information about the test was provided.
