Convergys Gets Yahoo Customer-Care Account
Convergys Corp., one of the nation's largest inbound teleservices operators, said it won a contract yesterday to provide customer-care services for Internet portal Yahoo Inc., Sunnyvale, CA.Financial terms were not disclosed. Convergys, Cincinnati, will provide support for customer inquiries and billing-related questions on Yahoo premium products and services as well as inbound e-mail and telephone call support.
Convergys operates 46 contact centers worldwide and handles 1.7 million customer interactions daily.
