ComTeq Lands Government Deal for Computer Equipment
Computer products marketer ComTeq Federal Inc., Rockville, MD, said yesterday it was awarded two bids from the United States Department of Agriculture amounting to sales worth $5.9 million.In the deal, the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service and its departmental divisions will receive 4,500 Hewlett-Packard Deskjet color printers and laser printers from ComTeq. The agreement adds another U.S. government agency to its client roster that already includes the Internal Revenue Service, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
ComTeq is owned by computer products catalog provider PC Connections Inc.
