CompUSA to Offer NetSuite Software for SMBs

Computer equipment retailer CompUSA will offer NetSuite Inc.'s on-demand business management software suite to small and midsize businesses.

The NetSuite product is a hosted suite of applications comprising accounting/ERP, customer relationship management and e-commerce. It will be available to small to midsize businesses through CompUSA Business Services' 1,100 direct-to-business sales force.

"This is the first time we've done it and this is the first time we believe any mass market retailer/reseller has offered on-demand software," said Jay O'Connor, vice president of worldwide marketing at NetSuite.

The NetSuite offering is available in 225 CompUSA stores featuring dedicated Business Services Centers. Executives from small and midsize businesses can get advice, training and support.

NetSuite will share revenue from the invoiced CompUSA sales.

This arrangement is not exclusive to CompUSA. NetSuite currently sells through a value-added reseller network based on geography.
