CompUSA Taps Range Online for Search Marketing

CompUSA Inc. engaged Range Online Media, Fort Worth, TX, to handle interactive work for the retailer and reseller of computer products and services.


The agency will focus on search engine marketing and the creation and execution of a CompUSA shopping portal through Yahoo, Sunnyvale, CA.


CompUSA, owned by a Mexican conglomerate, is based in Dallas.


A specialist in keyword search marketing, Range this year projects billings of nearly $30 million from its client roster. Online travel agency Travelocity recently increased its budget with the agency.


The additional workload has led to the hiring of five employees, raising the agency total to 14.
