CompuCredit Plans Hirings
CompuCredit Corp., Atlanta, which purchased the Fingerhut Cos. credit operations and accounts receivable, plans to hire more workers, the Associated Press reported Friday.The company has hired 790 people in St. Cloud, MN, since acquiring $1.2 billion in Fingerhut customer accounts from Federated Department Stores Inc., Cincinnati.
The company plans to hire 20 to 40 more people in St. Cloud next month. It also will add 30 people to an office in Monticello, MN, where 50 people currently work.
